Sunday, Oct 09: 10 am to 4pm Vendor Booths Open
The Festival is free and OPEN to everyone!
The festival takes place on Front St. and Main St. and entrance is free. At Front and Sacramento Streets, you will find the Beer Garden, which has ice cold beer and wine (and the tip jar is donated to a local non-profit).
On stage Friday night, beginning at 4:00 pm, will be Network, Groovy Judy, and Livin’ Daylites. Saturday bands, beginning at 11:30 am, include River Ratz, Derek Abel Band, Strange Brew, and Briefcase Blues Brothers. Performing on Sunday beginning at 11:30 am will be Michelle Lambert, Afterglow, and Angela Street. There will be plenty of room to dance right in front of the stage and many tables and chairs if you would like to enjoy some lunch, dinner or snacks while listening to the great music. During band brakes and the changing of bands there will be opportunities to step on stage and sing some karaoke.
There will be many food trucks selling a wide variety of food items, soft drinks, and festival fare such as Parks Barks BBQ brisket, Tanas Catering (fish fry), Lira’s tri-tip, Rotary’s linguisa, lumpia, smoothies, ice cream cones, corn dogs, cotton candy, snow cones, and kettle corn, and more.
Vendors will be lining up on Front Street with many different items for sale. Jewelry, soaps, lotions, candles, Color Street nails, Mary Kay, Tupperware, Paparazzi jewelry, tie-dyed clothing, metal works, face painting, and much more.
The CARNIVAL IS BACK! Yes, after last year’s absence, the midway will be here to offer a variety of rides, including rides for the little ones! Discount tickets will be on sale in the next few weeks and will be sold at the Rio Vista Visitor Center/Chamber of Commerce office and at Pets 4 All. The carnival will be in operation from Thursday, October 6 through Sunday, Oct 9.
